Experienced Foundation / Footing / Slab Crew Lead (and Possible Crew) Wanted – Piney Flats, TN
We are seeking an experienced foundation, footing, slab prep, and concrete pour lead for an upcoming residential project in Piney Flats, Tennessee. We are also interested in speaking with established crews capable of taking on the complete foundation scope from layout through final slab placement.
This is a quality-driven project, and we are looking for professionals who take pride in their work, communicate well, and can deliver a foundation that is square, level, and built to plan.
Scope of Work
Responsibilities may include:
- Site layout and foundation preparation
- Footing excavation and preparation
- Forming and grading
- Stone placement and compaction
- Vapor barrier installation
- Rebar installation and tying
- Anchor bolt placement
- Monolithic slab and/or conventional footing foundation work
- Coordination of inspections
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Equipment and crew management
- Reading and following engineered foundation plans
- Requirements
Applicants must be able to provide:
- Verifiable experience with residential foundations, footings, and slab work
- References from recent projects
- Photos of completed work
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of proper grading, compaction, reinforcement, and concrete practices
- Reliable transportation and communication
- Ability to meet project schedules and inspection requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large custom homes
- Experience coordinating pump trucks and concrete suppliers
- Ability to manage subcontractors and labor crews
- Knowledge of East Tennessee soil and site conditions
- Established crew with equipment and tools ready to mobilize
