Absurd Pickups builds custom hand-wound guitar pickups in Bristol, TN.
I make everything from Fender-style single coils to Gibson-style humbuckers, P-90s, Tele sets, Strat sets, Jazzmaster pickups, bass pickups, and more. Each pickup is scatterwound by hand and voiced for the sound you’re after — vintage, modern, bright, warm, clean, aggressive, or somewhere in between.
If there’s a pickup set you love but don’t want to pay absurd boutique prices for, I can build something inspired by that sound at a more affordable price.
