Looking For / ISO: 1–2 Safe Trail Horses OR Foal/Young Prospect - $1,000 (Tri-Cities TN)

I’m looking to add 1–2 horses to our family and am open to either well-broke trail horses and/or a young prospect/foal for the right fit.
About us:
- Experienced rider (have been riding for 20 years, have started horses in the past)
- Horses will live on our 4-acre property with proper care, shelter, fencing, and companionship
- Experienced home with farrier and vet already established
- Horses will have a quiet, low-stress home with daily handling, training, and attention
Primarily looking for:
- Geldings or mares
- Age: ideally 5–15 for broke horses
- SAFE, sane, and reliable temperament is the top priority
- Trail experienced ideal
- Suitable for intermediate rider and safe around children (will be teaching kids to ride)
- Good ground manners (ties, loads, stands for farrier, etc.)
Also open to:
- Foals or young horses with good minds and solid foundation potential
- Grade horses or those needing a great long-term home
- Light projects with the right temperament
Use:
- Trail riding
- Camping
- Pleasure riding
- Family environment (not looking for high-performance horses)
Budget:
- Ideally $1,000 – $3,000 per horse depending on fit
Location:
- Located in Bluff City, TN - willing to travel for the right match
Not looking for:
- Dangerous behaviors (buck/rear/bolt)
- High-strung or overly reactive horses
