This is the real deal — not a reproduction. The cap features the classic eye/oval shape with two twist-lock ears and displays the period-correct embossed oil brand names around the face: Castrol, Duckhams, Mobil, Esso, Havoline, Shell, and BP. The small brass vent grommet at the center is intact.
The cap is in very good original condition showing honest patina and age-appropriate wear consistent with a genuine vintage part. No cracks, no breaks, locking tabs are solid.
Measures approximately 2.5 inches across.
A rare find for restorers wanting correct original parts rather than cheap reproductions. Perfect for a concours restoration or simply keeping your classic Triumph authentic.
